Cooking Guidelines
Oven cook – From Chilled
Not suitable for cooking from frozen
1. Recommend defrosting product in refrigerator for best eating quality.
2. Preheat oven to 190°C (Fan) and 170°C (Gas mark 5).
3. Cover turkey leg loosely with lightly greased foil.
4. Cook turkey leg in preheated oven for 90 minutes, removing the foil after 45 minutes.
5. To check for doneness, temperature on a meat thermometer should be 170°C / 77°C.
Please note all appliances vary, these are guidelines only and the turkey leg should be checked during cooking to avoid under or over cooking.
Bake thoroughly to an internal temperature of 170°C (77°C).
Cannot be cooked from Frozen
Suitable for Home Freezing
